Cory Bautista, Jennifer Starr and Debbie Dietering all bring their own unique professional perspective to Make Me A Supermodel. Cory has been a top editorial modeling agent for years, Jennifer is a fashion casting director, and Debbie has modeling and is now a runway coach.

As the competition gets even more intense, they all have their own perspectives on what qualities it really takes to make any one of the contestants a true supermodel.

Cory thinks that confidence can take a promotional model far. He says, “One should try to conquer their fears in life but in the case of models it's imperative. They must first get over the fear of being self conscious and shy. Everything else should be a walk in the park…Being a supermodel involves a charisma that must exude confidence without seeming cockiness.”

Debbie thinks that a good attitude can be the key to success. “Clients want to work with models who work hard, have a positive attitude, are fun and enthusiastic, and have a sense of humor about difficult situations,” she wrote in her Bravo blog. “Models are generally treated very well as the talent, sometimes to make up for the difficult situations we are put in. It is usually the models who have a positive attitude that get rebooked. Of course, everyone has heard stories about certain models (you know who they are) behaving badly on jobs, but for most of us, good behavior is usually rewarded.”

As for Jennifer, she says that fearlessness is one of the most important qualities a model can have, but agrees with Debbie that positive outlook is also a crucial element. She says, “During your career as a fashion model you will be asked to do some crazy things and the only way to get through it is to face your fears head on. Being fearless will make you a great model and a great actor…The more you are willing to do, and approach it in a very positive way, the more a photographer will want to book you because they feel that you are capable of doing anything and delivering a good picture. A good attitude is probably the most important quality a model can have.”
